Our gloves have seen many changes over the last 3 years as we continue to evolve and learn from the customers, testers and esports drivers. We are very proud of our latest version 2 sim racing gloves as they represent not only the hard work, but the only truly made from the ground up, sole purpose build gloves for sim racers.

We of course started with looking at real world gloves or real world racing and took the fundamental basics but rather than just rebranding a pair of karting gloves or taking an easy option, we looked at what is important to sim racing. Breathability to keep cool was the first objective - you don't need the padding and protection required in an FIA approved pair - If anything this is a disadvantage in the rig. Secondly was weight. Keep them as non intrusive as possible so you almost forget you're wearing them - Your focus should be on the apex of the next corner, not if your wrist strap is coming lose. Finally is something we are known and loved for - Durability and quality. We use the highest level or printing technology, couple with specific blends of materials (there are more than you'd think in a pair of gloves!) to ensure not only comfort, but they stay strong and stay as beautiful as the day you first got them.

The one thing that has been probably the biggest challenge has been price. We want to make our products as accessible as possible. It's easy to make a cheap product that doesn't last or perform as you'd hoped and it's easy to throw money and make something expensive but to find the middle line, the goldilocks zone where we can bring the best of both has been our focus.

Times have been more challenging with recent world pandemics and other affairs. Couple this with the ever increased costs and inflation, it's not always easy to get things done as quickly and as cost effectively as before - But that's not good enough for us here at IMB...
